Belle Cheveux Salon
McCall Hancock is one of the top hair stylists in Las Vegas, according to Las Vegas Life Magazine which featured McCall in their 2006 Best of Beauty.
When McCall contacted identityHD about a corporate identity for her new salon Belle Cheveux in Summerlin, we were, to say the least, excited.
Belle Cheveux, for those of you who don’t speak french, translates “Beautiful Hair”. The final design needed to combine a “modern” feel with an “old world” french touch and compliment the comfortable atmosphere she envisioned for the salon.
After reviewing a number of design concepts, Cochin was selected for the typeface along with a fleur-de-lis logotype. An italicized “v” gives the Belle Cheveux’s logo a finishing touch. The full color palette includes PMS 476, 468, 4645, 5753 and 478, but most designs are kept conservative with just the brown hues.
The letterhead design literally turns the address on it’s side making an efficient use of space. The business card and envelope compliment this style.
BelleCheveuxSalon.com provides quick access to services provided by the salon. New stylists interested in working at the salon can quickly fill out the form in the work with us section. A web based email form under contact keeps salon email addresses hidden from purveyors of spam. Directions includes an illustrated map with the salon’s location. Traffic is driven to the site using Google Adwords and results are measured with Google Analytics.
